Light is not Edward
Misa is not Bella
L is not Jacob

Death Note is not a love story and in fact, it illustrates how destructive seduction and love can be.

If you cannot see the differences after rereading DN, please go shove your head in a toaster oven.

They compare Death Note with Twilight?! *anger* -is not a Twilight fan- DN is better, waaaaaay better! Light isn't Edward, Light is evil and he doesn't sparkle. Bella is not Misa, not even Misa is that annoying! Also, Misa is more of an idiot. L is not Jacob. That's not right. I don't remember Jacob eating mounds of cake!!! ...Okay I'm done now.

A lot of people actually. I type in Light Yagami and I get so many Twilight hits from people calling him the anime Edward.

Agreed. I love Light and I love DN, but I hate the fandom because it's mostly composed of emo chicks who just watch and read because the guys are teh smex. These are the kinds of girls that end up calling Light the anime Edward.
