Help gaiz!He said he would do it IF I did most of the work (and since I just got a sewing machine and I REALLY want to see him cosplay as Kaiba, I agreed T-T) and if I let him do Kaiba's purple coat he wore from Duelist Kingdom ([link]) rather than the white Battle-city jacket. ([link])
Anyway, I need TIPS! Does anyone know how to make a jacket? I've looked at some tutorials, but some steps seem to either be missing or they assume that I already know how to sew T-T Please help!
This would also be helping me out too because I will have to make my Mask deMasque coat from scratch. ([link]) SO SEND THEM TIPS IN!

Anyways, I dunno how to explain how to make jackets... I only ever draw them... so yeah... I've never actually made one due to a lack of a sewing machine... and fabric... >.>'
At least not full-sized... and then again... it was a sweater... not a jacket...

Anyway, the best way to learn how to make one (apart from physically showing you myself which is kind of impossible), I'd recommend you do it how I did it... take apart an old one you own that you don't care about and put it back together... >.>'
Sewing it back by hand is a bitch, though, that really sucked =/

Yeah, he does, but then again, he IS a guy and even more of a dork than me. I still love him though and I really want to see him as Kaiba simply because it would be good for the lulz.

So, that's the fabric Cody would be after I take it?
Were he collecting fabric as opposed to cards, I mean.
You might have to compromise, or stitch together pieces of it in such a way as to not make it obvious. You could also get a lab coat and dye it purple and modify it. As a last resort, anyway.

LOL Probably.
Lab coats are EXPENSIVE. I never thought they would be but they are. That is indeed a possibility though.
