Lern URSELVES

As most of you probably know or have realized, I have been debating for a long time and have taken a class on how to properly debate/engage people in an argument. Probably one of the biggest annoyances in both the class and out in the field is something that I only noticed after the class had finished up.

Two words: LOGICAL FALLACIES

Instead of writing a huge lengthy journal on this, I'll link you all to this video and leave some links describing various types of fallacies which are commonly used in arguments and debates worldwide. Look up the Presidential/Vice Presidential debates after seeing this...you will probably be pretty damn surprised XD

[link] (Just to let you know, I HATE this guy, but his video is actually pretty good once he actually gets into the goddamn topic, which is around 4 minutes so you can skip everything up until then. If you are a theist, ignore the atheist bits)

Educate yourselves. Please...we need less idiots in this world!

And just because I can...ROME!

Almost all of the arguments I engage in are unsound arguments; I know so and continue anyway only because the majority of the arguments I participate in are opinion-based fanboy arguments.

Anyway, yeah, I like arguing and find debates, when they're properly done, highly enjoyable. I don't participate in them much anymore, though, because of how mathematical it all gets (i.e. the "if and only if" rule)... And most of the time people don't want to listen to your point of view no matter how you present it (even in a proper debate). Its highly annoying =/
Thusly, I end up speaking in double and triple negatives, confuse everyone, and leave to do something else.

The ROME stuff is more interesting than the dude talking for a full length episode of anime.
